Siege of Orgrimmar 13 · Tyrant's Dusk · MoP Classic 5.4.8
MoP Classic P5 Paragons of the Klaxxi Guide
Nine Paragons activate three at a time; when one dies, the rest recover and strengthen. The kill order must follow the raid's strategy and current composition.
Phase Goals
- Three-person combination:Only attack the marked target, while handling that combination's debuffs, controls, and summons.
- Paragon falls:Designated players pick up corpse ability; others immediately switch to new targets and positions.
- Later phase combination:Use remaining raid cooldowns to cover the most dangerous combos, maintain kill discipline.
Tank, Healer, and DPS Duties
- Tank:Different Paragons have independent tank swap/cannot same tank conditions; pick up by combination, don't use a fixed two-tank rotation for all.
- Tank:Face frontal abilities like Kor'kron away from the raid; assist with positioning when Amber and large adds appear.
- Healer:Debuffs and combinations determine damage pattern, adjust healing cooldowns by spawn order.
- Healer:Blood orbs must be killed before reaching their target; prioritize rescuing players under special control.
- DPS:Target priority above personal rotation; switch immediately to amber, blood orbs, parasites, or hungry insects as called.
- DPS:Players with corpse ability use as assigned; don't change team order for personal gain.
Heroic Mode and WCL Review
- Heroic difficulty combinations are more lethal; the specific kill order varies with raid composition, and this page does not replace the raid leader's assignment sheet.
- When a new Paragon activates, handle positioning and mechanics first, then resume DPS.
- Actual kill order, damage to wrong targets, and target-switch time after new Paragons activate.
- Survival time of blood orbs/amber/insects, use of personal special abilities, and avoidable damage.
Representative Timeline
- 0:00 First group of Paragons:Tanks face apart; dispel/parasite handling roster activates.
- 0:45 Aimed Shot Rotation:The targeted player stands on a fixed line; the raid soaks the beam but avoids other frontal cones.
- 1:56 Amber add joins:Amber landing away from group; clear with fire/designated method if necessary.
- 2:49 Encase in Amber:Immediately switch to the cocoon; do not continue tunneling the current Paragon.
- 3:44 Cauterizing Edge:Linked players spread to form a short line without cutting through the group; healers cover the sustained damage.
- 5:00 Mid-to-late phase combination:Re-report current primary target and interrupts; don't save all raid CDs for the end.
