MoP Classic P5 Feral Druid Guide
Maintain Tiger's Fury/trinket-enhanced bleed snapshots; manage Rip and Ferocious Bite with energy pooling and combo points.
Core resource:Energy · Combo Points
Core Rotation
- Keep Savage Roar up; build combo points with Mangle/Rake; maintain Rip with high-quality snapshots.
- When energy is low, pool resources; use Omen of Clarity on high-cost abilities; avoid waiting at full energy.
- Berserk and Tiger's Fury align with melee-friendly windows; in execute phase use Ferocious Bite to refresh Rip.
Mechanics and Opener
- Bleed snapshotting:Rake and Rip snapshot buffs like Tiger's Fury at cast; overwriting a strong snapshot with a weak one loses the entire duration.
- Energy pool:Energy regenerates naturally; waiting itself is not a loss; pooling energy before capping makes finishers and key refreshes more stable.
- Roar—Rip:Savage Roar amplifies overall damage; Rip is the core on the primary target. Their remaining durations determine the next use of combo points.
- -2 sec|Stealth, potion, and confirm the path to engage from behind.:Ensure the first empowered ability and positioning are valid.
- 0 sec|Open with Destruction or Rake.:Use high-value stealth ability to build initial combo points.
- First batch of points|First establish Savage Roar, then activate Tiger's Fury:Let subsequent bleeds benefit from both global and snapshot buffs.
- Buff window|Rake → build to 5 combo points → Rip:Lock the two strongest bleeds at the start.
- Low energy|Berserk and continue Shred/Finishers:Extend burst GCD count while trinkets are still active.
Common Mistakes and WCL Review
- Do not overwrite high-quality snapshots with low-quality Rake/Rip.
- When switching targets frequently, first judge if bleeds can fully tick; reserve combo points before movement.
- Savage Roar, Rake, Rip uptime and snapshot quality.
- Energy capping, combo point waste, and gaps caused by failed behind attacks.
