MoP Classic P5 Restoration Druid Guide
Pre-hot with Rejuvenation and Efflorescence before damage; use Swiftmend/Wild Growth to catch waves, Tranquility covers the heaviest windows.
Core resource:Mana
Core Rotation
- Keep Lifebloom on main tank; when ground positions are stable, place Efflorescence on main stack.
- Pre-hot Rejuvenation then follow with Wild Growth; use Clearcasting on high-value Healing Touch.
- Plan Innervate early, stagger Tranquility and raid damage reduction to avoid healing overlap.
Mechanics and Opener
- Pre-hot:Rejuvenation, Lifebloom, and Efflorescence need to be applied in advance. Restoration druid's strength comes from anticipating damage, not reacting with direct heals after damage.
- Symbiosis and Omen of Clarity:Lifebloom provides steady procs; free Regrowth should go to truly injured targets, not mindlessly overhealed because it's free.
- Mushroom/Efflorescence:Fixed gathering points significantly improve efficiency; when the raid moves, re-select a point rather than leaving an empty ground effect.
- -8 sec|Lifebloom on main tank, Efflorescence at first stack point:Let passive healing and free procs work from the pull.
- -3 sec|Pre-hot the first wave of targets that will take damage:Place first tick and mastery synergy before damage arrives.
- 0 sec|Maintain Lifebloom, assist with Wrath/Faerie Fire in low-pressure phases:Don't generate excessive healing during no-damage phases.
- Before first raid damage|Rejuvenation spread → Wild Growth:Sustained healing lands first, effective immediately after raid damage.
- First heavy injury|Swiftmend triggers ground healing; follow the table with Tranquility or Incarnation:Use small wave tools to protect big cooldowns.
Common Mistakes and WCL Review
- Don't keep blanketing the raid with Rejuvenation when there's no follow-up damage.
- Pre-place HoTs before moving; reposition Efflorescence promptly after location changes.
- Effective uptime of Lifebloom, Efflorescence, and Rejuvenation.
- Overhealing, wasted Clearcasting procs, and actual Tranquility targets hit.
