Core Rotation
- Explosive Shot on cooldown, keep Black Arrow and Serpent Sting; Cobra Shot refreshes Sting and regenerates Focus.
- When Lock and Load procs, fire Explosive Shot in the correct rhythm to avoid overwriting damage still ticking.
- On multi-target, use Multi-Shot to spread Serpent Sting; save burst cooldowns for high-value reinforcements or stationary phases.
Mechanics and Opener
- Explosive Shot：Short cooldown core with sustained ticking damage; when procs trigger, consume at an appropriate pace to avoid overwriting remaining damage.
- Lock and Load：Traps/periodic triggers provide free Explosive Shot. Goal is zero waste, zero overlap, and use instant GCDs for movement or target switching.
- Multi-DoT：Serpent Sting, Black Arrow, and Explosive Shot form sustained damage; target lifespan determines which to apply, not applying everything to every mob.
- -2 sec｜Potion, Misdirection, and pre-place Explosive Trap/pre-cast Cobra Shot：Trigger trap and resource gains from the first second.
- 0 sec｜Explosive Shot → Black Arrow：Start the shortest core cooldown first, then activate the proc chain.
- Afterwards｜Serpent Sting, Kill Command/Glaive Toss depending on build.：Refresh damage-over-time effects that can fully tick.
- High focus｜Arcane Shot to dump focus：Make room for Cobra Shot and subsequent natural Focus regeneration.
- Lock and Load｜Between Explosive Shots, weave one GCD that doesn't overwrite the DoT tick.：Consume every charge fully without wasting proc stacks.
Common Mistakes and WCL Review
- Do not place Black Arrow on targets about to die or invalid.
- Dump Focus early when near cap, but don't delay Explosive Shot because of it.
- Explosive Shot delay, Lock and Load proc consumption interval.
- Effective ticks of Black Arrow/Serpent Sting and focus capping.
