MoP Classic P5 Fury Warrior Guide
Bloodlust to gain Enrage; Raging Blow and Whirlwind burst around Colossus Smash windows, keeping enough rage for procs.
Core resource:Rage
Core Rotation
- Bloodlust on cooldown to gain Enrage; consume Raging Blow before charges cap, Whirlwind as filler.
- Use Bloodsurge procs for free Wild Strike; pool rage and Raging Blow charges before Colossus Smash.
- Recklessness, Skull Banner, and other bursts align with Colossus Smash and execute phase, use Whirlwind for cleave on multiple targets.
Mechanics and Opener
- Enrage:Critical strike/Bloodsurge procs enhance damage and are the prerequisite for Colossus Smash burst. Dumping high rage without Enrage significantly devalues it.
- Wild Strike/Raging Blow:Bloodlust triggers Raging Blow stacks, which have a cap; save stacks for Colossus Smash but don't let new procs overwrite old ones.
- Rage Dump:Heroic Strike and similar abilities can consume rage outside the GCD, making them suitable for armor-debuff windows; mindlessly spamming them outside windows will starve core windows.
- -2 sec|Potion, Charge:Stay in melee to generate rage and trigger the opening buff.
- 0 sec|Bloodlust to gain Enrage/Raging Blow stacks:First establish the state required for burst.
- Afterwards|Colossus Smash + Recklessness/Banner/trinket:Stack crit and armor penetration multipliers.
- Armor Debuff Window|Bloodlust, Raging Blow, Whirlwind; at high rage weave Heroic Strike.:Dump inside the window but avoid capping resources.
- After the window|Bloodlust on cooldown, build rage and Raging Blow stacks:Rebuild burst stock for the next cycle.
Common Mistakes and WCL Review
- Forcing a dump without Enrage significantly lowers burst quality.
- Raging Blow uses and Bloodsurge procs have caps; waiting causes waste.
- Enrage uptime, Bloodthirst delay, and wasted Raging Blow/Bloodsurge procs.
- Ability density during Colossus Smash windows, rage capping, and Execute phase execution.
