Forever: name reservations, nine dungeons, and first raids

The global site announces October 27–November 3 name reservations and three level-60 raids opening December 9. China also introduces nine new five-player dungeons. Global reservation and raid dates do not establish China’s schedule.

Global early name reservations: Eligible upgrade purchasers can reserve three characters total across all rulesets. Europe opens October 27 at 18:00 CET; North America October 27 at 13:00 PDT; Korea October 28 at 07:00 KST; Taiwan October 28 at 07:00 CST. Reservations end November 3; China requires its own announcement.
Nine new five-player dungeons: Dungeons cover levels 13–60, including Hall of Thanes, Ruins of Lordaeron, City of Dalaran, The Drowned City, Alcaz Prison, and Blackmaw Hold. Dalaran requires attunement; China’s beta now includes it while retaining the level-30 cap.
First global level-60 raids: The global announcement lists Barrow Deeps (10 players), Hyjal Summit (20), and Onyxia’s Lair (40) for December 9, with weekly resets currently planned. Every player must carry the Drakefire Amulet to enter Onyxia’s Lair.

Hallow’s End begins; 12.1.5 and Worldcore in focus

Global Hallow’s End runs October 19–November 2 with Quel’Thalas candy buckets, neighborhood activities, and housing décor. A Rexxar-themed pack is also available; China’s event and shop schedules require local announcements. 12.1.5 is live, while Echoes of the Worldcore remains on PTR.

Launch timing and mid-season progression: Global October 20 hotfixes unlock Ascendant Venomstones and increase Conquest gains by 50% and Honor gains by 40% in Battlegrounds and Arenas. China’s announcement schedules the Venomstone quest and crest cap removal after October 22 weekly maintenance.
The Unbinding of Kith’ix raid: Face Kith’ix alongside Liadrin as the Quel’Thalas and Zul’Aman story continues. China’s current launch announcement lists Story, Normal, Heroic, and Mythic difficulties, with flexible 15–25-player Mythic groups.
Global Hallow’s End festivities: The global announcement lists October 19–November 2. Collect candy in Quel’Thalas, join neighborhood dailies, ghost hunts, and candy activities, and challenge the Headless Horseman for seasonal rewards. These details describe the global announcement.

Time’s Ulduar and raid challenge leaderboard are live

Phase six and the S6 leaderboard began October 8. October 9 raid fixes are live, and the new raid challenge leaderboard ranks teams by roster size and clear time.

Phase six and Val’anyr: Ulduar retains selected encounter-triggered hard modes. Val’anyr gains a damage-oriented version, with players choosing healing or damage attributes after completing its quest.
October 9 adjustments are live: Mimiron’s final-phase health correctly drops to 50%. Kirin Tor’s Wisdom adds 15% health, healing and absorption, and damage bonuses; certain toys are restricted near Ulduar portals.
Challenge timing and valid clears: The leaderboard opened October 12, timing clears from Flame Leviathan’s defeat to Yogg-Saron’s. Required hard modes and an unchanged roster determine eligibility; fewer players rank first, then faster times. Algalon is excluded.

BCC ANNIVERSARY · ZUL’AMAN

Anniversary Zul’Aman opens October 22 PDT / October 23 Beijing

Level-70 groups of ten face six bosses and race to rescue hostages for the Amani War Bear. Zul’Aman has no attunement and resets every three days.

Global opening time: The global launch is October 22 at 3 p.m. PDT, equivalent to October 23 at 06:00 Beijing time. The Ghostlands raid culminates in a battle against Zul’jin.
Hostage rescue and Amani War Bear: The rescue timer starts when the raid breaches the gates. Defeating lieutenants and saving hostages extends the timer and adds loot; saving everyone in time rewards the Amani War Bear.
Raid access and equipment sources: Hyjal and Black Temple lose attunements, Heroic keys require Honored reputation, more bosses drop Badges of Justice, vendors expand their stock, and Primal Nether and Nether Vortex become unbound.
